Science has a high profile in our timetable and curriculum planning at Farncombe School. We are fortunate to have specialist Science teaching in both Year 2 Classes, led by Liz Parrish. As Science Subject Lead, Liz also directs the planning and provision in Year 1 and supports the foundational teaching and learning in Reception where early investigations and exploration begin.

Year 2 pupils often tell staff that they would like to be scientists, archaeologists or doctors, thanks in part to the inspiring Science lessons they have experienced.
