As a successful school, we are always looking to consolidate our effective practice, to learn from current educational research and to respond to new initiatives locally and nationally. Just like the children in the photograph growing herbs, we must judge when it is best to add fresh ideas (water?) to what is already in place, how much to modify what is there (food? scissors?) and when to leave existing good practice to grow independently. To direct these improvements, we have a school development plan. This is updated each year.
